You will master effective and proven muscular massage hands on techniques, study advanced thoracolumbar muscular and skeletal anatomy, pain anatomy, interaction/teamwork of skeletal and muscular systems, contraindications, pain/injury assessment, and self-care therapy and prevention.
Your instructor is Olympic Muscular Massage Therapist, Geno Ortiz L.M.T. Geno has been technically selected by the International Olympic Committee to provide “Muscular Massage Therapy” to the “Athletes of the World” in the 1984 Summer & 2002 Winter Olympic Games. The 1984 Olympics staffed the first Olympic Massage Team in history, and only 36 therapists were choosen from the world. In the 2002 Olympics, only 2 therapists in the entire State of Hawaii were choosen. Geno is a licensed massage therapist in the State of Hawaii for 28 years and has educated hundreds of therapists who are practicing massage world-wide.
Resonably priced lodging is available. Depending on our number of participants, lodging will be either in the magnificient 2 story Pahala Plantation House, or in classic cottages in Pahala town. In the historic Pahala Plantation House, there are: 7 bedrooms: 3 rooms have 2 beds, 3 rooms have Queen beds, and 1 room has a King bed. Room selection is based on "first come/first served". Come with a group of your friends and cut lodging costs! The large kitchen is available for all guests use.
